Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing is quite simply an amazing sport.  I have yet to find a better sport or activity that exercises your body and mind than Rock Climbing.  To be an efficient climber you don't only have to train to be strong; you have to train to be smart.  Every movement, body position, hand/foot placement, ounce of energy and inch of friction must be carefully planned and considered in order to strive to improve your climbing abilities.  It is not a competitive sport by nature; the point of climbing is to simply improve yourself: your strength, technique, and concentration.  There is no better way to get a full body workout, or to relieve stress after a long day.  If you've never tried it, you should.  It's not nearly as intimidating as it may seem.  If you have tried it, email me at m-lester@m-lester.com and maybe we can get together and go climbing sometime.  Climb on everyone!
